As I write this, I’ve got my new favorite oil combo difussing close by.  It’s no secret that I love citrus scents.  I also love sweet flower scents, as well.  Ylang, Ylang is one of my absolute favorite scents.  The sweet, but crisp scent that is floating through the room is both uplifting and calming.  You’ve just got to try this combo!

Ylang Ylang essential oil is known for its ability to soothe tension and create calm.  In fact, studies have shown that Ylang Ylang is effective in reducing blood pressure and increasing body temperature.  (source)  

Citrus fresh is a lovely citrus oil blend, exclusive to Young Living.  It contains Orange, Tangerine, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin and Spearmint oils.  I call the citrus oils my “happy” oils.  I can’t help but smile and feel a little happier when I smell their sweet, clean scents.  In fact, I use Citrus Fresh often in my laundry and that has made laundry a happier experience.  (Well, nothing makes putting away laundry better, but at least it smells pretty without harsh toxins, right?)
